2021 Friends of MNWR Annual Meeting.
The 2021 Annual Meeting of the Friends of Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge (FMNWR) was held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
The virtual meeting included an engaging presentation by Katelyn Cadoret, President of FMNWR, which summarized our achievements over the past year, reviewed our budget, discussed future goals and elected officers for 2022. It was attended by FMNWR Directors, Partners and general members. If you missed it, the full presentation can be viewed here.
In addition, some of the goals we have identified for the upcoming year are as follows:
- more environmental education
- public events
- more community engagement
- continue advocacy of group
- partner engagement
- land acquisition
- recruit new board members
- visitor center pursuit
- new packet for board members
- create brush pile/have demonstration
- fishing events with landing craft
- collaborate with WBNERR on osprey demo
