Come join us this summer as we add new plants to existing native pollinator gardens within the Refuge. Opportunities this summer to garden will occur selected Thursdays at an established garden site. To beat the heat, we’ll start at 9:30 and work for an hour to 1.5 hours maximum. Please bring your own water and garden tools (and if you have large jugs, bring water for the plants!). No commitment required for the entire project – just join us when you can! See our events calendar for schedule and locations.
Great opportunity to learn about native plants and watch the gardens flower and be abuzz with pollinating insects!
***IMPORTANT NOTE: All Refuge volunteers need to complete a U.S. Fish & Wildlife Volunteer Agreement. Please RSVP by email to have us send you the proper paperwork, which must be submitted in advance. ***
