Dear Community,
MLK Day of Service, an annual event put on by AmeriCorps Cape Cod, is coming up soon! The event will be held at the Sturgis Charter School community space in downtown Hyannis (529 Main Street) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on January 15th, 2024. This year’s goal is to bring attention to the issue of homelessness on Cape Cod. There will be a donation drive of essential items like bedding and personal care products that will go to those in need. There will also be a community lunch, resource fair, and kid’s activities corner.
Wondering how you can help? Please attend the event if you can and drop off donations. Even if you can only stop by for a few minutes, that is fine. Scan the QR code on the flyer below for a list of suggested donations, and thanks to Lucinda and Nancy for signing up to
