Mashpee Interpretive Nature Tours – Santuit Pond Preserve Park

Take a naturalist guided walk exploring the diverse and spectacular habitats such as vernal pools, upland forest, herring run, freshwater marsh, river, and abandoned cranberry bogs at Santuit Pond Preserve.
Directions: Santuit Pond Preserve is located on Route 130 in Mashpee. The address is 117 Main Street (Route 130) in the Town of Mashpee.

 

The Mashpee Conservation Department is continuing its schedule of free Naturalist-guided tours of Mashpee’s unique and diverse conservation areas. Tours last for an average of 1 to 2 hours but may be longer or shorter, depending on the wishes of the participants. All ages are invited and children are encouraged to come. Many nature programs are designed for children
and their families. Further information can be obtained from the Mashpee Conservation Department at 539-1400, ext. 8540, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Guide maps for many conservation areas are available at the Conservation Department at the Mashpee Town Hall. Tours may be cancelled in the event of stormy weather.
